Final submission of PhD thesis

I’m proud to announce that last week my PhD thesis was formally accepted at the University of Cambridge.

The work includes my research on using lithium ion batteries as a method of controlling the properties of halide perovskites. (These are important materials that will likely form the technology behind the next generation of solar cells).

Technical jargon aside, the thesis demonstrates holistically how the progression of science can occur at the interface and collaboration between different fields and disciplines. In this case between chemistry and physics; batteries and solar cells.

For those with a technical background or are brave enough to read the real thing, a copy can be found here or in the University of Cambridge library.

Of course, if anyone would like to discuss any of the topics or science involved, or has any questions then I’d be more than happy to chat. Send me an email here, or feel free to leave a comment or question in the comments box below!
